Roamera is a hand-curated home for coliving spaces, coworking-friendly hostels, and pop-ups — built for people who want to live anywhere without giving up the feeling of being part of something.
I’ve worked remotely from Mexico City, Medellín, Lisbon, and Buenos Aires. Before each move, I’d lose hours — sometimes days — to the same broken loop: a coliving’s website looks promising but hasn’t been updated in two years. Airbnb has listings, but no way to tell a real community from a furnished apartment with a trendy name. Booking.com was built for weekends, not months.
So you dig deeper. You find a Reddit thread from 2022. You DM someone on Instagram who may or may not reply. You guess. I guessed wrong more than once — showing up to spaces that looked great in photos but had no real community, no reliable wifi, and an operator who clearly hadn’t thought about remote workers at all.
The few genuinely great places I found, I found by luck — someone mentioning them in a Slack group, or a lucky second search. That gap bothered me. The spaces exist. The people looking for them exist. But the discovery layer is still word-of-mouth and luck.
Roamera is my attempt to fix that: a curated directory of coliving spaces across Latin America and Europe, built specifically for remote workers and nomads. Not every listing that calls itself a coliving makes the cut — we vet for the things that actually matter: reliable wifi, real coworking, genuine community, and honest pricing. It’s still early. But the research has already been done, so you don’t have to.
We’re not another listings dump. Every space earns its place.
Not every space that calls itself a coliving makes the cut. We check the things you can’t tell from a listing: reliable wifi, real coworking setups, genuine community, and honest pricing.
Designed around long stays, not weekend trips — monthly pricing, community spaces, and coworking, for when somewhere becomes home for a month or a season.
City guides, real reviews, and honest photos — so you’re not piecing a decision together from a 2022 Reddit thread and an unanswered Instagram DM.
