We sit in Manegra, a hamlet of Oggebbio in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, on the mountainside above Lake Maggiore. The setting is quiet and green, with hiking and the lake close by, and we run on Starlink so the connection holds even out here. The house offers a mix of en-suite and shared-bathroom rooms plus small dorms, and we keep things intentionally small and community-led.
We're a facilitated community of digital nomads and remote workers living together above Lake Maggiore in the pre-alpine north of Italy. Our weeks fill up with skill-share evenings, communal meals cooked in our shared kitchen, and Italian cooking and language classes. When we want to step away from the screen, we head out for forest walks and hikes, or join yoga, meditation, and Pilates sessions. We gather in the large garden with its hammocks, benches, and fire pit to relax and connect after the workday.
We have two separate coworking spaces here, one quieter and one more social, both fitted with ergonomic chairs, power sockets, and USB chargers. Beyond those, we work from the living room, the desks in our private rooms, or out in the large shaded garden under the trees. Ultra-fast Starlink Wi-Fi keeps us connected throughout, so it's easy to stay productive wherever the mood takes us. With multiple work spaces for different moods and plenty of common areas, we can match where we work to how we're feeling that day.
We're a coliving in the pre-alpine hills of northern Italy, looking out over Lake Maggiore. Days here mix focused remote work on fast Starlink WiFi and several common workspaces, then breakfast with proper Italian coffee and a garden to step out into. We gather for communal dinners and head out together for forest walks, hikes, yoga, and Italian cooking and language sessions.
